Jane Berhalter is a scheduler at EverNest Home Care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in Communications with a minor in Public Relations. Jane has a background in Real Estate and Event Planning. She has lived in the Northern Virginia area all her life and currently lives in Gainesville with her husband. Jane enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Denise Robey is a scheduler at EverNest Home Care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University and her graduate degree from Campbell University. Her easy going personality and many years of experience in the education field lends itself nicely to working with others in challenging situations. She resides in Marshall, Virginia with her winsome expanding family.
Sierra Reyes is the HR Manager at EverNest Home Care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University in Biology & Leadership and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Health Administration at George Mason University. With her scientific background and love for working with people, recruiting has been a great transition into Home Care. Sierra resides in The Plains, VA. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her blue heeler, Oshie, working out and spending quality time with friends and family!
Kirsten Makris is the Director of Nursing at EverNest Home Care. She has over 18 years of Nursing experience with a strong background in home health care and community wellness. In addition, she is currently enrolled at the University of Virginia working towards her MSN-NP. Kirsten enjoys working out, traveling, music, dancing, fashion, and spending time with her family, friends, and two adopted dogs.
Chris Gay is the founder of EverNest Home Care. Prior to his transition to the Home Care Industry, Chris was a manager at Deloitte, helping advise clients on the most effective approaches to transform their business operations. Chris is deeply passionate about quality caregiving after seeing his mother’s brave battle against cancer. He holds a BS in Business from Virginia Tech. He has been married to his wife Kendall since 2014, and has three children whom he adores!
Julie Edmonson is the Director of Nursing for EverNest Home Care. Julie has spent the majority of her nursing career working in the Emergency Department and comes to the home care industry with extensive clinical knowledge. Having prior experience in home care has afforded her the opportunity to make a smooth transition to EverNest. Julie prides herself in providing the best care possible and is willing to put forth the effort to see that it is done. The ability to make a long-term difference in people’s lives means the world to her.
Kelly Thorsen is the Operations Manager for EverNest Home Care. With her background in the event planning and interior design fields, Kelly has experienced the importance of building a great team and her passion of working closely with people. She enjoys traveling the Northern Virginia area to recruit and bring on board the best caregivers, all while seeing the direct impact their care has on client’s lives. Kelly lives in Warrenton with her husband and chocolate lab and enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending quality time with friends and family.
David “Tom” Thomas is the Marketing Coordinator for EverNest Home Care. Tom joined EverNest in 2020 and coordinates the marketing efforts to promote EverNest’s commitment to ensuring your loved ones are cared for with the quality and compassion they deserve. Activities include organizing Job Fairs, creating advertising, and searching for new clients and caregivers to join our EverNest family. Tom enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends. He holds a BS in Engineering from Nene University in the UK.
Gabriela (Gabi) Sine is the Care Coordinator for EverNest Home Care. Gabi has 35 years’ healthcare experience working in the ICU and ER with Fauquier Hospital, various nursing homes, and private care settings. She coordinates with our professional caregivers to provide excellent patient care in support of their families. Gabriela was born and raised in Germany and moved to the United States in 1985. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, reading and spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Rebekah Ordonez is a scheduler at EverNest Home Care. She has a Paralegal Certificate from George Mason University and her experience as a Paralegal has provided her with a solid foundation in engaging with both clients and caregivers. She resides in Warrenton with her two beautiful daughters Mya and Gabby and their sweet Mastiff, Virginia. When Rebekah is not at the office she enjoys working out, reading, yardwork, watching her girls play soccer and spending time with family and friends.
Nicole is a scheduler for EverNest Home Care. Her previous office, managerial, and customer service experiences enable her to communicate thoroughly with both the client families and the caregivers. Nicole’s personal experience with aging loved ones also gives her a client perspective with regards to the entire scheduling and caregiving process. Nicole is a lifelong resident of Fauquier County, a mother of two boys with her husband of fifteen years, and a part time yoga instructor. Nicole is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a degree in history, she loves to read, play with her kids, and travel.
Lillian Fernandez, RN, is the Director of Nursing for EverNest Home Care. Lillian has been with EverNest since 2017 and helps to promote a culture of compassion and healthcare excellence for clients by working hand in hand with caregivers. In her nursing career, Lillian has worked in the emergency department and the post anesthesia care unit at Fauquier Hospital. Lillian enjoys riding her horses and spending time with family and her young daughter, Sofia. She holds a BSN from Shenandoah University.
